Sensitive, Sharing the Mountain
The Alps are a realm of wild and sensitive species.
From their forests to their highest peaks, a remarkable range of habitats shelters wildlife that is discreet and often unsuspected. The contrast between this quiet wildlife and ever-growing human activity is striking.
Following in the footsteps of Geoffrey Garcel and Sébastien De Danieli, two nature photographers, this series takes us from Norway to their native Alps, into the intimate world of wildlife. Their two perspectives are joined by the voices of people working in the field, whose activities are closely tied to the sensitivity of these species.
